2012 Ironman 70.3 Tri Club Lottery Slots
The City of Henderson has been awarded 25 GENERAL LOTTERY slots to the Ironman World Championship 70.3 on Sunday, September 9th, 2012, at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, NV.
To enter the lottery:
1. You must be a current Clark County resident and LV Tri Club Member
2. Fill out the lottery application
3. SEND A CHECK FOR $350* PAYABLE TO THE IRONMAN FOUNDATION ($350* ENTRY FEE). YOUR CHECK WILL NOT BE CASHED UNLESS YOU ARE SELECTED.
4. Agree to provide a minimum of one volunteer for the Tri Club’s Aid Station at the 2012 Ironman 70.3 WTC event. You will be required to designate a volunteer by August 19th if you are selected for the race. If you are not selected, you may either volunteer yourself or designate someone.
5. Submit your application and check by Jan 21, 2012 (postmark)
The raffle will take place at the Las Vegas Tri Club Annual Kick Off Party on Friday, January 27th, at the Desert Pines Golf Club (3415 East Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101). The party will begin at 6:30PM, with dinner being served at 7:30PM.
The Kick-Off Party is free to all Tri Club members that have joined for 2012. Membership to the Tri Club is just $55 for an individual and $75 for a family for the year, and includes at no additional cost: the party, entry into (4) Tri Club hosted triathlon or duathlon events, a $25 credit towards tri club gear, plus many additional benefits.

The first 20 lottery winners will be selected from those attending the party, so you increase your chances of being selected just by being at the party.
If you win a slot:
- You will be given a registration code for Active.com to enter all your entry information on-line. This must be done within two weeks after the lottery.
- Athletes must complete an official USAT 70.3 or longer event after September 9, 2011 to validate their lottery slot. Lottery winners must complete the validating race before Aug 19, 2012 and all validating information must be received in the Ironman race office the following week. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the slot.
